Jennifer is a Nurse Service Manager at Al Amal Hospital. Jennifer completed her BSc in Mental Health Nursing in Ireland and holds an MSc in Advanced Care in Dementia from the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IOPPN) at Kings College London, United Kingdom.
Jennifer has worked within the older adult Clinical Academic Group (CAG) in South London and Maudsley (SLaM) NHS Foundation Trust for over a decade. Jennifer has undertaken a variety of clinical posts across the four boroughs during her time with SLaM, working in Inpatient services, Home Treatment Teams (HTT) and Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) before moving into a senior management role.
As an operational clinical service manager (CSM) for the older adult HTT and crisis pathway, Jennifer held responsibility for the older adult bed management pathway, including complex admissions and discharges. Additionally, as part of her CSM role, Jennifer had the opportunity to provide operational leadership and management to the SLaM community perinatal teams.
