Riad El-salehin Reda

Riad El-salehin Reda completed his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2017 at Cairo University. He completed a diploma in Clinical Psychology in 2011 at Cairo University where he also obtained his Bachelor’s degree in 2010.

Riad is licensed as Clinical Psychologist by the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) and the Ministry of Health & Prevention UAE (MOHAP)

With over 10 years of experience, Riad has worked with children, adolescents and families in private, hospital and school settings. He offers assessments and therapeutic support for a range of cognitive, social, and emotional difficulties that occur during childhood and adolescence. This includes support for children and young people presenting with anxiety disorders (including social anxiety, specific phobias, separation anxiety, panic disorder, selective mutism.), mood disorders, OCD, elimination disorders , and behavioural challenges.

Riad is also interested in supporting children and young people presenting with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, and ADHD.

Riad uses evidence-based therapies as part of his practice, including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and schema therapy. As part of his interventions, Riad works closely with families and collaborates with parents to support them in addressing their child’s socioemotional and behavioural wellbeing.
