He has over 19 years of clinical experience delivering evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy (ST), successfully treating adults with a range of mental health illnesses. Dr. Ahmed has specialist interest in Addiction, Rehabilitation, Personality Disorders, PTSD and Complex Trauma, Sexual Disorders and OCD.
Dr. Ahmed is a certified trainer of Schema Therapy. He is a recognised supervisor and Advanced Schema Therapist with the International Society of Schema Therapy ‘ISST’. He is the Regional Co Ordinator of Schema therapy for North Africa and Arab Countries and a member of the ISST Individual Certification Committee. He is the Founder of the Egyptian Institute of Cognitive Therapies and Schema Therapist Egypt.
