Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Maksoud is a consultant psychiatrist and the Clinical Director for Maudsley Health Abu Dhabi. He is currently acting as the Assistant Director for Medical Affairs at Al Amal Hospital Dubai.
He completed the senior house officer training in psychiatry in Birmingham and Solihull NHS Foundation Trust. He completed the membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2007 and then completed the higher registrar training in General Adult Psychiatry in London Deanery. He obtained the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry in 2011.
He has a special interest in mental health care quality and he has a unique experience of working with quality teams to obtain mental health-specific JCIA accreditations in the U.A.E.
